Type Locality. Guatemala, fixed by lectotype designation ( Riley 1986) .

Type Material Examined. Paralectotype: pinned, “ Coll. E. Ross | Berlin. N 113 [b, t, cb] || Coll. | Donckier [w, t, cb] || COTYPUS [pi, t, cb] || C. Rica [w, h, cb] || Bilimeki | m. cot. ♀ [hw] | Spaeth det. [w, t, cb] || Chirida | Bilimeki | 125 Spaeth | Panama [g, hw, sf, bf] || ZMH 823540 [w, bf, sf]” ( ZMH) .

Current Status. Valid species.

Remarks. Spaeth (1932b) described M. bilimeki based on a long series of specimens from various locations in Central America. However, he did not designate a holotype in the original description. Riley (1986) studied the original type series in the MM and designated a male from Guatemala as the lectotype. The ZMH specimen originates from Spaeth’ s collection, is part of the type series, and thus is a paralectotype.
