Comment. Paederus (Harpopaederus) brevior has been recorded from several localities in the Qinling Shan, Shaanxi (Li et al., 2014; Peng et al., 2015a; Assing, 2015). For illustrations of P. brevior see Peng et al. (2015a: figures 1B, 2B, 3).
