Type locality: Great Barrier Reef.
Type: QMG 313680 (holotype /alcohol). South side of Heron Island, Great Barrier Reef, 23∞28.2¢S, 151∞56.7¢E, 17 m depth. Collected by G. Wörheide (8 July 1998) .
Colour: Preserved holotype is light yellow.
