Evaniidae View in CoL currently contains more than 580 recognized species within 33 genera worldwide, of which Brachygaster View in CoL , Evaniella View in CoL , Hyptia View in CoL and Semaemyia contain both extant and extinct species ( Deans 2005; Shih et al. 2019; Poinar 2020; Jouault et al. 2022). A total of 18 extant (plus 5 fossil) species and 4 extant (plus 1 fossil) genera from China are recognized as valid (Deans & Huber 2003; Deans 2005; Li et al. 2018; Sharanowski et al. 2019; Chen et al. 2023; Deans et al. 2024).
