FEMALE. Unknown.
Type material. Holotype male, Jiangsu: Songjiang, Sheshan, 6. V. 1964, WJ. Holotype deposited in SEMCAS.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality in Jiangsu.
Etymology. The specific epithet derives from the type locality in Jiangsu.
Comments. The new species is similar to Neurigona xizangensis Yang from Xizang, but can be separated from the latter by having 3 dc bristles and no acr bristle. In N. xizangensis , 6 dc bristles and 18–19 irregularly paired acr bristles are present ( Yang, 1999).
