(Figs. 64–71, 96)
Etymology. Ensis (Latin) = a suffix denoting place, locality, or country. This name refers to the State of Baja California de Norte, Mexico.
FIGURES 64–71. Arenigena bajaensis . 64. Tergite 8, epandrium, cerci. 65. Sternite 8, gonocoxite ventral view. 66. Gonocoxite, lateral view. 67. Gonostylus lateral view. 68. Aedeagus, dorsal view. 69. Aedeagus, ventral view. 70. Aedeagus, lateral view. 71. Female internal reproductive organs. Scale = 0.1 mm.
Diagnosis. Arenigena bajaensis is similar to A. marcida in having the inner gonocoxal process (Fig. 66) narrow, elongate and the distiphallus (Fig. 70) thick basally and broadly curved posteroventrally. It differs from A. marcida in the male frons being setose, the male dorsal apodeme (Fig. 68) being slightly expanded laterally, and the female frons with white setae admixed with thicker dark brown setae dorsolaterally; and the furca (Fig. 71) with a broad anterior projection.
