The species is reported to inhabit Arizona , California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Oklahoma and Mexico ( Metcalf 1963a, Duffels & van der Laan 1985). The author has identified specimens from Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, Nuevo León, Sonora and Veracruz.
