The CASC has specimens from Sonora, Bakachaka, Rio Mayo. Collection dates are 3–VII–1935, 4–VII–1935 and 6–VII–1935.

The species was previously only reported from Arizona ( Metcalf 1963a) . The extension of this species into Mexico is not a surprise as the author has collected specimens within a couple kilometers of the Arizona-Mexico border.
