Distribution. – Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Peninsular Malaysia, Indonesia [Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan] ( Brancucci, 1983). Singapore!
Ecology. – In Singapore L. siamensis is the most common species of the genus. It inhabits more permanent, standing and slow flowing waters such as muddy pools, ponds and irrigation ditches in open or semi-shaded areas. The species is also attracted to light.
