Genus Apobaetis Day, 1955 View in CoL View at ENA
The analysis of type material, literature review, consultation of specialist and review of the part of historical records allowed the recognition of three new species: Apobaetis pasternakae sp. nov. (former A. fiuzai ), Apobaetis jaquelinae sp. nov. (former A. fiuzai ) and Apobaetis luanae sp. nov. (former A. kallawaya ). Consequently, corrections were made to the species distribution records ( Fig. 1 View Fig ), restricting A. fiuzai outside the Amazon biome and A. kallawaya to Bolivia. The possibility of examining more than a few specimens allowed considerations of intraspecific variation.
