Diagnosis. The male of the new species is similar to that of L. yejiei Zhang & Wang, 2021 by the straight embolus and the length of the embolus as long as the bulb but can be distinguished by the absence of a triangular apophysis on the embolus (vs. present in L. yejiei Zhang & Wang, 2021 ). The female of this new species can be distinguished from other known female congeners by the mushroom-shaped spermatheca.
Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 16B View Figure 16 ). Total length 8.25. Carapace 4.77 long and 4.18 wide, reddish brown in ethanol; rim of carapace brown and with a small ridge; fovea U-shaped, without any modification posteriorly; caput slightly raised. Eyes in two rows, anterior row procurved; eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.17, ALE 0.30, PME 0.20, PLE 0.25, AME– AME 0.10, AME–PME 0.08, AME–ALE 0.06, PME–PME 0.25, PME–PLE 0, ALE–PLE 0.06. Chelicerae reddish brown, with 5 promarginal and 7 retromarginal teeth, rastellum comprising 5 stout spines on tubercle. Labium without cuspules. Sternum reddish brown, with large sigilla centrally. Abdomen 3.51 long and 2.50 wide, dorsally yellowish grey, with black pattern. Leg measurements: I 13.00 (4.33, 4.51, 2.75, 1.41), II 11.06 (3.88, 3.91, 2.65, 1.16), III 9.84 (3.06, 2.64, 2.63, 1.51),
IV 14.33 (4.20, 4.28, 3.91, 1.94).
Palp ( Fig. 15 View Figure 15 ). Tibia relatively slender with numerous bristles ventrally, bristles on lateral side of tip stout. Embolus straight.
Female (IZCAS-Ar43264, Figs 16A, C View Figure 16 ). Total length 17.24. Carapace 8.84 long and 8.25 wide, reddish brown in ethanol; rim of carapace brown with small ridge; fovea U-shaped, without any modification posteriorly; caput slightly raised. Eyes in two rows, anterior row procurved; eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.15, ALE 0.29, PME 0.14, PLE 0.30, AME–AME 0.14, AME–PME 0.14, AME–ALE 0.12, PME–PME 0.34, PME–PLE 0.03, ALE–PLE 0.09. Chelicerae reddish brown, with 4 promarginal and 6 retromarginal teeth, rastellum comprising 5 stout spines on tubercle. Labium without cuspules. Maxillae with 15 cuspules. Sternum reddish brown, with large sigilla centrally. Abdomen 6.82 long and 4.49 wide, dorsally yellowish grey, with black pattern. Leg measurements: I 9.03 (3.34, 3.77, 1.07, 0.85), II 7.63 (2.62, 3.36, 0.90, 0.75), III 7.35 (1.96, 2.20, 1.70, 1.49), IV 11.44 (3.04, 4.49, 2.89, 1.02).
Vulva ( Fig. 16C View Figure 16 ). Spermatheca T-shaped, with numerous glandular pores; stalks almost 0.5 times as wide as spermatheca.
Material examined. Holotype. ♀ (IZCAS-Ar43261), China: Hainan, Ledong Li Autonomous County, Jianfengling National Park , Mingfeng Valley (18.7105°N, 108.8792°E, elev. 1046 m), 2 December 2020, Y. Mo leg. Paratypes. 1♂ 2♀ (IZCAS-Ar43262–Ar43264), same data as holotype GoogleMaps .
Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
Etymology. The specific name is dedicated to Ms. Jing Yuan, who has helped us greatly with this research; noun (name) in genitive case.
