sp. nov.

Speocera wangi Lin & Li , sp. nov. ( Figs 26–27 View Figure 26 View Figure 27 , 28C–D View Figure 28 , 29 View Figure 29 )

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to S. cattien Lin & Li, 2019 but males can be distinguished by the ratio of the length of the cymbium to the width of the cymbium— 1: 3 (vs. 1: 2 in S. cattien ) and the straight embolus (vs. curved in S. cattien ). Females can be distinguished by the N-shaped accessory gland (vs. C-shaped accessory gland in S. cattien ).

Description. Male (holotype, Fig. 28C View Figure 28 ). Total length 1.12; carapace length 0.51; carapace width 0.42; abdomen length 0.57; abdomen width 0.39. Carapace pyriform, narrowing gradually anteriorly, anterior margin smoothly curved in dorsal view; light yellow, suffused with purplish pattern; pars cephalica flat; fovea not visible. Sternum light yellow, suffused with purplish color, as long as wide. Endites light yellow suffused with purplish tinge; with serrula; labium light yellow suffused with purplish tinge. Clypeus nearly vertical; short. Chelicerae light yellow; external margin strongly excavated; promargin with a series of six teeth reaching lamina; retromargin with two very small denticles. Six contiguous eyes surrounded by black pigmentation, PME smallest, PLE largest. Abdomen oval; purplish. Legs light yellow. Leg measurements: I 1.80 (0.51, 0.69, 0.33, 0.27), II 1.67 (0.48, 0.60, 0.34, 0.25), III 1.43 (0.43, 0.46, 0.34, 0.20), IV 1.96 (0.57, 0.69, 0.41, 0.29).

Genitalia ( Fig. 26 View Figure 26 ). Palpal femur long; palpal tibia elongated, as long as cymbium. Cymbium conical, without prolateral extension. Bulb elliptical. Embolus short, black, slightly curved. Associated sclerites absent.

Female (IZCAS-Ar43281, Fig. 28D View Figure 28 ). Total length 1.32; carapace length 0.55; carapace width 0.46; abdomen length 0.74; abdomen width 0.38. Similar to male in color and general features but larger. Chelicerae unmodified. Leg measurements: I 1.83 (0.54, 0.65, 0.37, 0.27), II 1.63 (0.25, 0.33, 0.56, 0.49), III 1.37 (0.37, 0.44, 0.33, 0.23), IV 1.99 (0.56, 0.69, 0.43, 0.31).

Genitalia ( Fig. 27 View Figure 27 ). Internal genitalia with afferent spermatheca short, straight, not extending beyond sides of abdomen; tip of afferent spermatheca N-shaped; spermatheca oval.

Material examined. Holotype ♂ (IZCAS-Ar43280), China: Hainan, Wuzhishan City, Wuzhishan section of Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park , 4 March 2022, D. Wang leg. Paratypes. 3♀ (IZCAS-Ar43281–Ar43283), same data as holotype .
