Hyllus shanhonghani Lin & Li , sp. nov. ( Figs 32–34 View Figure 32 View Figure 33 View Figure 34 )

Diagnosis. The male of the new species resembles H. diardi (Walckenaer, 1837) by the shape of the bulb and wide embolus. The female is similar by the oval copulatory opening (Zhang & Wang, 2017). The male differs by the following: the truncated terminus of the retrolateral tibial apophysis is longer than wide (vs. wider than long in H. diardi ) and the retrolateral tibial apophysis has a depression in the middle of the tip (vs. the depression absent in H. diardi ). In the female, the hood is inconspicuous (vs. the lateral side of the hood with a distinct depression in H. diardi ) and the abdomen with a red pattern (vs. absent in H. diardi ).

Description. Male (holotype, Figs 34A–B View Figure 34 ). Total length 11.64. Carapace 5.36 long, 4.91 wide. Abdomen 5.34 long, 4.84 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.91, ALE 0.44, PME 0.10, PLE 0.40, AME–AME 0.23, AME–ALE 0.31, PME–PME 2.75, PME–PLE 0.86, ALE–PLE 1.58. Leg measurements: I 9.80 (1.82, 5.36, 1.79, 0.83), II 8.87 (2.52, 4.47, 1.27, 0.61), III 7.49 (2.10, 3.15, 1.39, 0.85), IV 7.02 (1.99, 3.23, 1.25, 0.55). Carapace black, red-brown medially, carapace edge and sides of cephalic part with white setae, thoracic part sloping abruptly, clothed with white setae. Fovea indistinct. Clypeus dark brown, covered with thin setae. Chelicerae black, with 1 retromarginal and 1 promarginal tooth. Endites and labium black. Sternum black-brown, covered with yellow setae. Legs with brown-white setae. Abdomen elongated oval, dorsum with three pairs of muscle depressions, dark green, with white spots.

Palp ( Fig. 32 View Figure 32 ). Retrolateral tibial apophysis terminus black, with depression; cymbium flattened, covered with long setae; bulb almost oval, with sperm duct extending along margin, tegular lobe simple; embolus wide.

Female (IZCAS-Ar43286, Figs 34C–D View Figure 34 ). Total length 13.92. Carapace 5.63 long, 5.11 wide. Abdomen 7.64 long, 6.07 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.96, ALE 0.32, PME 0.12, PLE 0.41, AME–AME 0.27, AME–ALE 0.30, PME– PME 2.76, PME–PLE 0.79, ALE–PLE 1.46. Leg measurements: I 9.10 (2.36, 4.45, 1.21, 1.08), II 8.45 (2.50, 4.00, 1.18, 0.77), III 7.88 (2.55, 3.54, 1.03, 0.76), IV 9.25 (2.42, 4.01, 1.89, 0.93). Habitus similar to that of male except chelicerae with 2 retromarginal teeth and 1 promarginal tooth, abdomen with white stripe centrally, widening medially, laterally with red pattern and white spots. Venter black with dark setae and white pattern; sides black with white spots.

Epigyne ( Fig. 33 View Figure 33 ). Longer than wide, with pair of hoods near epigastral furrow; copulatory opening situated medially, oval; copulatory duct indistinct; spermatheca shaped irregularly; fertilization duct well-developed.
