Subgenus Scydmaenilla View in CoL s. str.
Six species of the nominotypical subgenus are known; three occurring in Queensland, two in New South Wales and one in Tasmania. All were revised or described by Franz (1975) (as Stenichnus ), but identifications of species based on his work are not possible. Moreover, Franz misidentified S. pusilla in his Australian revision (Franz 1975).
