Description

Female; length of the body 4.5–5.3 mm.

Colour. Body largely black with following rufous: tegulae, fore leg except for coxa, mid and hindleg, fore wing with a yellowish spot at the marginal vein.

Head. Triangular, wider than high. Scrobe deep and striate touching anterior ocellus. Antennae long and slender. Genotemporal furrow present. POL 5× OOL.

Mesosoma . Pronotum, mesoscutum and scutellum densely punctate, interstices on scutellum smooth and shiny and wider than puncture diameters. The apex of scutellum emarginate.

Metasoma. Metasoma distinctly longer than mesosoma. T1 smooth and shiny with pair of short indistinct carinae at the base.

Distribution

INDIA. Bihar, Goa (new record), Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal ( Emiliyamma 2016).
