Description

Female, length of the body 3.9–4.1 mm.

Colour. Body mostly black. Scape, fore and mid-leg and hind tarsi brownish-yellow. Flagellum and hind tibia reddish brown. Hind femur black with reddish patch basal and apical region. Metasoma black dorsally and laterally and yellowish-brown ventrally.

Head. Triangular, wider than high in frontal view. Scrobe flat with striations. Antennae long and slender. Scape 7× longer than its width. Clava 2× longer than its basal width.

Mesosoma . Pronotum, mesoscutum and scutellum thickly punctate, with interstices narrower than the diameter of punctures. Fore wing with post-marginal vein shorter than marginal vein and stigmal vein.

Metasoma. Petiolated with longitudinal carinae. Petiole 5× long as broad. Petiole shorter than metasoma in length.

Distribution

INDIA. Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal ( Binoy 2015; Emiliyamma 2016; Gowriprakash et al. 2016, 2018; Daniel and Ramaraju 2017a, 2017b).
