Description: Tubular and ramified specimens, with hairy appearence and with a conulose surface, beige in colour ( Figure 10d View FIGURE 10 ). Spicules are straight oxeas with sharp ends of 570–710 µm by 25–30 µm and microxeas of 50–65 µm ( Figure 10e, f View FIGURE 10 ).
Remarks: As far as we know, this species has been only recorded by Topsent (1916, 1917) and Burton (1929). This represents a new record for the SOI.
