Material studied (2 ♂♂, 2 ♀♀). China: 2 ♂♂, Shanghai, Chongming Island, Houniaodujiacun, 29.vi.2007, Wen-Jia He leg. ( SNUC); 1♀, Shanghai, Shanghai Normal University, 4.vi.2007. ( SNUC); 1 ♀, Shanghai, Laohumin, 17.ix.2004, Jia-Yao Hu leg. ( SNUC).
Comment. Previously, this species was known from Japan, the Chinese provinces Jiangsu and Sichuan, and from Taiwan ( Assing 2012; Li et al. 2013). The above mentioned material indicates that it is common and widespread in eastern China. For illustrations of P. lineata see Assing (2012: figures 15–19).
