Regional distribution. The SpecieS haS SeVeral timeS been recorded from Mongolia (MartenS 1882; Möllendorff 1901; IzzatullaeV & StarobogatoV 1985). Our StudieS Show that R. lagotis iS Very common in the Mongolian waterbodieS being repreSented by SeVeral tenS of SampleS in collectionS examined by uS. ThiS Snail liVeS mainly in permanent or Semi-permanent Small waterbodieS.
Extra-limital distribution. Europe, Siberia, and Some regionS of Central ASia, including Tibet (MartenS 1882; Yen 1942; IzzatullaeV & StarobogatoV 1985; KrugloV 2005; VinarSki & Kantor 2016).
Morphology. Radix lagotis haS more or leSS Slender Shell with moderately inflated body whorl and high and relatiVely narrow Spire ( KrugloV 2005; AndreyeVa et al. 2010).
