Regional distribution. The type locality of Radix mongolica iS Situated in Inner Mongolia ( Yen 1939). SitnikoVa et al. (2006) recorded R. mongolica from the HöVSgöl Lake (See fig. 4 K). SeVeral ShellS correSponding to ShellS of R. mongolica SenSu KrugloV (2005) were Sampled by uS from the Khar US Nuur Lake.
Extra-limital distribution. Central ASia and the RuSSian Far EaSt ( KrugloV 2005; VinarSki & Kantor 2016).
Morphology. Yen (1939) defined R. mongolica aS a rather Small-Sized SpecieS (Shell height of the holotype iS 8.0 mm only) that makeS it the SmalleSt Snail of the SubgenuS Radix S. Str . of Mongolia. The largeSt of the ShellS collected by uS in the Khar US Nuur Lake iS 14.0 mm tall. ThiS Radix SpecieS can be diStinguiShed from all SpecieS mentioned aboVe by the higheSt Spire in conjunction with relatiVely Small Shell Size.
