CURRENT STATUS: Unjustified emendation of Platychira Rondani, 1856 ; junior synonym of Panzeria Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 . New synonymy.

REMARKS: Name made available as an emendation by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “i” to “y” in the same paper. Platychira Rondani, 1856 is treated as a junior synonym of Ernestia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 [ teste Herting & Dely-Draskovits (1993: 294) ] and Ernestia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 is treated as a junior synonym of Panzeria Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 [ teste O’Hara & Wood (2004: 244) ].
