CURRENT STATUS: Unjustified emendation of Ophyra Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 ; junior synonym of Hydrotaea Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 . New synonymy.
FAMILY: MUSCIDAE .
REMARKS: Name made available as an emendation by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “y” to “i” in the same work. Ophyra Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 is currently treated as a junior synonym of Hydrotaea Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 [ teste Pont (1986b: 74) ].
