REMARKS: Name made available as an emendation by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “i” to “y” in the same work. A second spelling in Rondani (1856), Oxyrhynchus (q. v.) on page
218, appeared in earlier works as an incorrect subsequent spelling (e.g., Oken, 1844: 450) and is therefore not eligible as an emendation.
