CURRENT STATUS: Junior synonym of Clusia Haliday, 1838 [ teste Soós (1984d: 13) ]. FAMILY: CLUSIIDAE . REMARKS: There are two original spellings of this genus-group name in Rondani (1856): Peratochetus (pages
119, 218) and Perotachetus (page 119). By subsequent usage (ICZN Code Article 24.2.4) Rondani
(1863: 96) acted as First Reviser and selected Peratochetus as the correct original spelling. [Peratochetvs] Rondani, 1863: 42 [ 1864a: 42].
CURRENT STATUS: Incorrect subsequent spelling of Peratochetus Rondani, 1856 .
FAMILY: CLUSIIDAE .
