TYPE SPECIES: Chyliza loxocerina Fallén, 1820 [= Ocyptera dolium Fabricius, 1805 ], automatic [by designation of the same species (by monotypy) for Lissa Meigen, 1826 ].
CURRENT STATUS: New replacement name for Lissa Meigen, 1826 ; valid genus [ teste Nartshuk (1984a: 26) ].
FAMILY: MEGAMERINIDAE .
