CURRENT STATUS: Unjustified emendation of Myennis Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 ; junior synonym of Myennis Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 . New synonymy.
FAMILY: ULIDIIDAE .
REMARKS: This is one of two original spellings (the other is Miennys , page 8) in Rondani (1869a), both of which are eligible as emendations by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “y” to “i” in the same work; however, as both names are used for the same taxon ( Myennis Robineau- Desvoidy, 1830), they cannot both be emendations. Acting as First Reviser, we select Miennis as the correct original spelling, which relegates Miennys (q. v.) to unavailable name status.
