REMARKS: Name made available as an emendation by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “ae” to “e” in the same work.

CURRENT STATUS: Incorrect subsequent spelling of Nemestrinus Latreille, 1802 View in CoL or subsequent usage of Nemestrina Blanchard, 1845 .

FAMILY: NEMESTRINIDAE .

REMARKS: The earliest mention of Nemestrinus Latreille, 1802 using the spelling “ Nemestrina ” that we have found in this study is Nemestrina Blanchard (1845: 468) , n. syn., as an unjustified emendation made available by similar spelling changes in two or more names from “us” to “a” in the same work.
