REMARKS: Name made available as an emendation by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “i” to “y” in the same work.

CURRENT STATUS: Incorrect subsequent spelling of Hylemya Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 View in CoL or subsequent usage of Hylemyia Macquart, 1835 .
FAMILY: ANTHOMYIIDAE .
REMARKS: The earliest mention of Hylemya Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 using the spelling “ Hylemyia ” that we have found in this study is Hylemyia Macquart (1835: 315) , as an unjustified emendation ( Evenhuis et al., 2010b: 93).
