CURRENT STATUS: Unnecessary new replacement name for Hydrellia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 ; junior synonym of Hydrellia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 [ teste Mathis & Zatwarnicki (1995: 61) ].
