TYPE SPECIES: Opomyza pectoralis Zetterstedt, 1847 (as “ Opomyza Pectoralis Stoeger. (In litteris)”) [= Opomyza bifasciella Fallén, 1820 ], by original designation.
CURRENT STATUS: Junior synonym of Colobaea Zetterstedt, 1837 [ teste Rozkošný & Elberg (1984: 170) ].
