CURRENT STATUS: Incorrect original spelling of Dryodromia Rondani, 1856 [ teste View in CoL this work].
FAMILY: EMPIDIDAE .
REMARKS: Driodromya is an incorrect original spelling because the unjustified emendation Dryodromia (q. v.) by Loew (1862a: 31) of the spelling Dryodromia (q. v.) is in prevailing usage and therefore is deemed a justified emendation under ICZN Code Article 33.2.3.1 and thereby becomes the correct original spelling.
