CURRENT STATUS: Junior synonym of Conops Linnaeus, 1758 [ teste Coquillett (1910: 527) ].
FAMILY: CONOPIDAE .
REMARKS: Although this genus-group name is missing from Chvála & Smith (1988), they treat its type species in Conops .
