CURRENT STATUS: Incorrect subsequent spelling of Ceracia Rondani, 1865 .

REMARKS: Criteria for making this name available as an emendation were not found to be fulfilled in Rondani (1868a). In Rondani (1868d) this is either an incorrect subsequent spelling or unjustified emendation (by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “i” to “y” in the same work). We thus follow ICZN Code Article 33.5 in treating this spelling in Rondani (1868d) as an incorrect subsequent spelling.
