TYPE SPECIES: Myobia fragilis Robineau-Desvoidy, 1849 [= Tachina inanis Fallén, 1810 ], automatic [by designation of the same species (by Townsend, 1916: 8) for Myobia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 ].
CURRENT STATUS: New replacement name for Myobia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 ; junior synonym of Solieria Robineau-Desvoidy, 1849 [ teste Herting & Dely-Draskovits (1993: 342) ].

CURRENT STATUS: Incorrect subsequent spelling of Anthomyia Meigen, 1803 View in CoL or subsequent usage of Anthomya Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 .
FAMILY: ANTHOMYIIDAE .
REMARKS: The earliest mention of Anthomyia Meigen, 1803 using the spelling “ Anthomya ” that we have found in this study is Anthomya Robineau-Desvoidy (1830: 581) , as an unjustified emendation ( Evenhuis et al., 2010b: 38).
