Remarks. Varicopsella (Multispinulosa) hamiltoni is here transferred into the subgenus Pedionis (Pedionis) . It may be easily distinguished from other Pedionis by the unique body coloration of yellow face and pronotum and black forewings; not pointed pygofer and pygofer ventral process with small spines and setae; and the special structure of the dorsal connective.
