Desmonus earlei Cook 1898 View in CoL NEW PARK RECORD
Tennessee: Blount Co.: Chilhowee, 22 Apr 2006, 19 Aug 2006, 14 Oct 2006, 14 Apr 2007, 18 June 2007, 10–11 Aug 2007. Sevier Co.: GSMNP, no specific locality ( Desmonus sp. juveniles, Causey 1958). Note: this record was deleted by Shelley (2000b) because the specimens could not be found in the Florida State Collection of Arthropods and Desmonus had not previously been found in the Smokies. As the previous record was deemed invalid, the Blount Co. specimens constitute a new GSMNP record.
