Specimen examined:— SHAN. Unspecified: fide Aung et al. (2020: 67). MON. Mawlamyine District : type .

Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, southern Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern China.

Notes:— Rhytionanthos bootanense is a validly published name since the protologue refers to a previous Latin description and the authors indicate a type. It is erroneously published as a ‘ comb. nov.’ rather than ‘ sp. nov.’. If it is accepted as different from B. spathulatum , then a new name is needed in Bulbophyllum .

Homotypic synonym: Phyllorkis stenobulbon (C.S.P.Parish & Rchb.f.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 678, 1891.

Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Putao District: fide Aung et al. (2020: 67). TENASSERIM. Type; same loc., Helfer s.n., Kew Distr. 5166 ( K, P no flowers) . TANINTHARYI. Dawei District: 220 m, 24 Mar 2012, Saw Lwin et al. TNRO 18 ( SING, SING [s]). Reported from Mon State by Kress et al. (2003: 67), but we have not seen any material from this area.

Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, southern Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern and southern China.

Distribution:— Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
