Specimen examined:— KACHIN. Putao District: Myint Zaw s.n., photo. Distribution:— Eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, northern Myanmar and southwestern China.

Bulbophyllum pumilio C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. f., Trans. Linn. Soc. London 30: 153, 1874. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, Parish s.n. (holotype: W-R 49455 )

Homotypic synonyms: Cirrhopetalum pumilio (C.S.P.Parish & Rchb.f.) Hook.f., Fl. Brit. India 5: 778, 1890. Phyllorkis pumilio (C.S.P.Parish & Rchb.f.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 677, 1891.

Specimens examined:— MON. Mawlamyine District : type; same loc., Parish 220 (icon. W). Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 67), but we have not seen any material from this area.

Distribution:— Myanmar and Thailand.

Bulbophyllum putaoensis Q.Liu, Phytotaxa 305: 57, 2017. Type:— MYANMAR. Kachin State: Putao District , 830 m, 3 May 2016, Liu 330 (holotype: HITBC)

Specimen examined:— KACHIN. Putao District : type. Distribution:— Endemic .

Bulbophyllum radiatum Lindl. , Gen . Sp. Orchid. Pl.: 55, 1830. Type:— MYANMAR. Tanintharyi Region: Dawei District , Gomez s.n. in Wallich, Numer. List: no. 1986 (holotype: K-LINDL; isotypes: K, K-W?)

Homotypic synonym: Phyllorkis radiata (Lindl.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 677, 1891.

Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Putao District : 1220 m, 17 Jul 1953, Kingdon-Ward 21169 ( BM) . MON. Mawlamyine District: Parish 114 ( K) . TANINTHARYI. Dawei District : type .

Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand and Indochina.

Notes:— This taxon may be distinguished from B. laxiflorum (Blume) Lindl. by a lip that is twice as long (not equal in length) as the column.
