Basionym: Eria pleurothallis C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. View in CoL f., Trans. Linn. Soc. London 30: 147, 1874. Type:— MYANMAR. Southern Kayin State: Parish 160 (lectotype K, designated by Clayton 2017: 79; isolectotype: W-R 19452 ) .
Homotypic synonym: Pinalia pleurothallis View in CoL (C.S.P.Parish & Rchb.f.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 679, 1891.
Specimens examined:— KAYIN. Kawkareik District : type. Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 68), but we have not seen material from this area.
Distribution:— Southern Myanmar and Thailand.
