Specimens examined:— WITHOUT LOCALITY. Fide Renz (1984: 13) and Chen et al. (2009: 177).
Distribution:— Northern Africa, Europe to the northern parts of Asia, the Himalayas and China.
Notes:— Inclusion here is based on unvouchered listing in the Flora of Pakistan and Flora of China. We have not seen material during our own study and suspect that the record may have been due to a misidentification of specimens of the similar C. damasonium .
