Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Myitkyina District: 1926, Swinhoe 66 ( K); same loc., 16 Mar 2009, Kurzweil & Saw Lwin KL 2528, photo. TANINTHARYI. Dawei District: type. Also reported from Putao District of Kachin State [as Acampe longifolia ] and from Kayin State and Bago Region by Saw Lwin (2007: 249 & 256) [as A. rigida and A. longifolia ], but we have not seen any material from these areas.
Distribution:— Tropical and subtropical mainland Asia, India, the Himalayas, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, southwestern and southern China, Taiwan, Peninsular Malaysia and the Philippines.
Note:— Based on morphological studies, Acampe rigida was recently reduced to a variety of A. praemorsa ( Barbhuiya et al. 2017) . We are currently examining this proposal.
