Anoectochilus albolineatus C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. f., Trans. Linn. Soc. London 30: 141, 1874. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, Parish 325 (holotype: K; isotype: W-R 26214 )
Specimens examined:— CHIN. Mindat District: 2135 m, 18 Nov 1956, Kingdon-Ward 22872 ( BM); same loc., 1350 m, 9 Aug 2008, Yasuda 060039 ( MBK) . MON. Mawlamyine District : type. Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 64), but we have not seen any material from this area.
Distribution: — Myanmar, Thailand and Indochina.
Notes:— The name of this species has been misapplied to material of Anoectochilus reinwardtii Blume. In Thailand, A. albolineatus became better known by its synonym A. siamensis Schltr.

Specimen examined:— BAGO. Bago District : type. Distribution:— Central Myanmar, Thailand , Indochina, southwestern China and Peninsular Malaysia.
