Agrostophyllum hasseltii Rchb. f. in Ann. Bot. Syst. (Walper s) 6: 909, 1864. Types:— MYANMAR. Tanintharyi: Myeik District, Griffith 254 (syntype: K-LINDL); same loc., Griffith 255 (syntype: K-LINDL).

Appendicula hasseltii auct. non Blume: Wight, Icon. Pl. Ind. Orient. 5 (1): 20, t. 1748-3, 1851.

Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Myitkyina District : without collector s.n. (not located, possibly CAL) , fide Pottinger & Prain (1898: 269) [as Agrostophyllum khasianum ]; same loc., 230−240 m, 16 Mar 2009, Kurzweil & Saw Lwin KL 2525 ( SING [s]) . MANDALAY. Distribution:— Central Himalayas, northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and Peninsular Malaysia.
