Distribution:— India and Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, Taiwan and Malesia as far east as New Guinea.

Note:— The earliest name for this taxon is probably D. simplicissimum (Lour.) Kraenzl.

(2003: 72) and from Kachin State by Saw Lwin (2007: 247), but we have not seen material from these areas.

Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern and southern China.
