Distribution:— The Himalayas, northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern China.

Note:— The name C. conferta Hort. (1875: 314) has no proven association with C. ochracea subsp. c onferta and thus it has not been included in the synonymy.
