Basionym: Flickingeria albopurpurea Seidenf., Dansk Bot. Ark. View in CoL 34 (1): 48, 1980.

Specimen examined:— SHAN. Taunggyi District : fide Nyan Tun (2014: 287; as Flickingeria albopurpureum ). Distribution:—?Eastern Myanmar, Thailand , Indochina and southwestern China. Notes:— Leaves are half as long as in the type, and the lip keels are white (not purple) in the record from Myanmar .

PO doubts this record, and judging from the photo it could also be D. chiengmaiense Schuit. & Peter B.Adams.

Dendrobium albosanguineum Lindl. , Paxton’s Fl. Gard. 2: 93, 1851. Type:— MYANMAR. Mon State: Mawlamyine District , Lobb s.n. (holotype: K-LINDL)

Homotypic synonym: Callista albosanguinea (Lindl.) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 654, 1891.

Specimens examined:— SHAN. Taunggyi District : fide Moore (1895: 171) . BAGO. Pyay District : 975 m, 22 Apr 1958, without collector s.n. ( K), det. E. A. Schelpe. TENASSERIM. Parish 15 (not located), fide Parish (1883: 192) . MON. Mawlamyine District: type. WITHOUT LOCALITY. Boxall s.n. ( SING), ident. uncertain. Reported from Rakhine State and Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 72), but we have not seen material from these areas.

Distribution:— Myanmar and Thailand.
