Specimens examined:— KACHIN. Putao District: 1220 m, 14 Sep 1953, Kingdon-Ward 21335 ( BM); same loc., 915 m, 2 Dec 1953, Kingdon-Ward 21667 ( BM), ident. uncertain .

Distribution:— Eastern Himalayas to northern Myanmar and southwestern China.

Notes:— Detailed description and illustrations of the record from Myanmar in Kurzweil (2020: 28). The leaves of FKW 21667 are unusually wide for the species.
