Specimens examined:— MON. Mawlamyine District: 1859, Parish 90 ( K); same loc., Parish 70 (not located), fide Parish (1883: 201; as Galeola hydra ) . TANINTHARYI. Dawei District : 3 Feb 1928, illegible 8095 ( K) .

Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, southern Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, southern China and Malesia as far east as New Guinea.

Notes:— Possibly Parish 70 is an error and should be 90. It is likely the specimen came originally from another locality and that Mawlamyine (= Moulmein) was where Parish brought the plant.
