Specimen examined:— MANDALAY. Myingyan District: fide Tanaka et al. (2011: 164), photo.

Distribution:— Sri Lanka, India, central Myanmar (?), Thailand, Indochina and southern China.

Note:— This taxon is expected to occur in Myanmar, but specimens are needed to confirm the record, since identifying taxa from photos in this genus is difficult.

Habenaria yomensis Gage, Rec. Bot. Surv. India 3: 105, 1904. Type:— MYANMAR. Rakhine Yoma : Mokim s.n. (holotype: CAL)
