Basionym : Coelogyne advena C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. View in CoL f. in H . G . Reichenbach , Otia Bot. Hamburg.: 47, 1878. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, Parish 296 (lectotype K, selected by de Vogel 1988: 19, note below; isolectotype: W-R) .
Specimens examined:— TENASSERIM. Helfer s.n., Kew Distr. 5047 (K); same loc., Rule 5348 et al. (K). MON.
Mawlamyine District: type. TANINTHARYI. Dawei District : 245 m, Aug 1961, Keenan et al. 5348 ( E). Distribution:— Endemic. Note:— Parish 296 was selected as ‘holotype’ by de Vogel (1988: 19), but is a lectotypification .
